To be honest, I've only tried doing Face Painting once and I didn't like it too much. So you might be wondering, what it was that got me to take the time away from my keyboard and drive over to Burlingame for the Face and Body Art International Convention? It was a few things really, a client of mine was doing an airbrush demo for the show. A good friend of mine also attending the show. But really it was because of the promise of some interesting looking ladies putting on their best (and most bizarre) make-up for the competition on Saturday night that got me over to the Peninsula. Though there was a fair number of guys there, (most notably the world famous Wolf Bros.) Face and Body Painting seem to be a female dominated profession. Here are a few of the more interesting sights walking around the Burlingame Marriot Hotel that evening.
