The Maltese Cross is a popular design element for motorcycle and hot rod enthusiasts these days. Motorcycle builder and all around bad boy Jesse James seems to use it to good effect for his West Coast Choppers logo. I wanted to use it in this illustration since the hard sharp points of the cross seem to compliment the soft curves but hard intent of Kory Vixen and her horse whip.
