Raven De Faye Rides Into Pin-Up History With Our Motorcycle Bondage Shoot!

This was a photo shoot that actually started strangely. Back in late May 2010, I was contacted by a model that wanted to work with me. I told her that I wouldn't do it unless she was willing to something edgy, like "pose nude tied up to a motorcycle". She replied back saying yes. I was being sarcastic but it was a sweet idea. I got Blaine McClish (aka Corrupt Morals) as the rigger and Treja Hayes for make-up. My friend Mike supplied the bike. Then the first model dropped out. It seems that she really didn't feel comfortable posing nude after all. I looked for another model. After asking around I found Raven Le Faye. Raven had done a lot of nude modeling before but no rope work. So she was good for this project since it expanded her book a bit (and it was a paying gig). She also had a really different look than I have worked with before. Both Treja and me were excited at the possibilities we could do with it.
The biggest problem seem to be finding a location to do this. The studio I originally shoot out of didn't have the type of access needed to get in and out a large motorcycle. So we ended up doing it in my garage here in Tracy. My lighting for this was just an ugly Halogen lamp and a fluorescent work-light that looked like a light saber? I was kind of worried how this shoot was actually going to turn out but in the end, the results were well worth the trouble. Blaine and Raven were both super, and of course Treja is always good to work with. Even Mike told me that he had a really good time with this. Though this project started off on the wrong foot, it ended as one of my best.

Hot Demon Goddess Scarlet Faux to heat up your Halloween!
These image are from my 'demon goddess' shoot with model Scarlet Faux. I was also working with a new make-up person Justina and an old childhood friend Antonio for the first time here. Antonio has been doing make-up effects for theater and movie for years and is a gifted sculptor. He made up and applied the horns we used on this shoot. Justina was a make-up artist I met on Model Mayhem. We had waited for months for a chance to work together on a project. Of course we also had Jeff for props, holding lights and general all around help on this shoot.
As it is when I work any new model, I was nervous going in but as you can see we got some good stuff right out of the bag. Scarlet Faux was great. My only regret is all the stuff I know I can do better next time with her. She was hot looking and took direction well. I thought we captured a fraction of what she could do and look forward to working with her again. Click on the image to the left to see more sexy images of Scarlet Faux!

Fun Fetish Photos with Maggie Mayhem and Chantiq Kolega!
Here are some new shots from my photo shoot last May. Like a lot of my shoots, half my plans went out the door as soon as I walked in the door. The original plan was for it to be two couple (two guys and two girls) but my male models all flaked. When I got to the studio, the strobe lights I was hoping to use were either out on other shoots or locked up. So I ended up shooting these pictures with just two hot lamps and a work-light.
On the other hand, my female models showed up on time and ready to play. This was my first time working with both of them. Chantiq Kolega was recommended to me by Charles Gatewood and Maggie I met at the Fetish Flea Market at the Citadel. I had a great time shooting them both. Make-up was done by Treja Hayes, who has done make-up on a lot of my past shoots.Click on the image to the left to check out Maggie and Chantiq!

Dead Girls Just Want To Have Fun!
I had a photo shoot in February in my home in Tracy. I had four models, Jessie Marie, Lysa Dazzle, John Walters and Bonnie. The theme was nude Zombies. This was my first shoot with Lysa, John and Bonnie. The lighting for this shoot was very improv. I had originally planned on renting studio lights but the guy I was to get them from never called back. I borrowed some halogen work lights on a stand from another photographer friend, but they were too bright and hurt the models eyes. For most of this I used a 21 dollar florescence work light I had just bought that day at Orchard Supply and Hardware. Lysa's boyfriend Marshall held it just outside of the view of the camera. Fetish Fun With Roxxie and Jessie Marie
This past January I had a very productive weekend with models Roxxie and Jessie Marie. We scheduled a photo shoot where the theme was domme/submissive. We had Roxxie (as our domme) and Jessica (as our submissive). Though it looks like Roxxie (our domme) is having loads of fun and Jesse-Marie (our submissive) she is not, actually both told me they had a good time. Again Treja Hayes, did our make-up and hair for this shoot and Jeff Cathcart supplied props and helped with the models. I Survived APE! (Alternative Press Expo)
This was my shake down cruise at the Alternative Press Expo last November. APE's focus is independent and alternative comics (no Spider-man or Batman around). Unlike other comic book conventions, APE tends to be a more adult crowd. So I felt more comfortable showing my Pin-Up art there. "Pirate" Treja as my booth babe for the first day. I got some great feedback on my book. One photographer I know gave me a lead to an art book publisher in Berkeley. I talked with a potential future model. Sunday about exchanging ideas by email for a future shoot. I had a woman from Germany and three people from England come by and tell me how much they like my stuff. (If this ever takes off I'll have to do a European tour.) I had a lot of people looking at my stuff and a number of people buying. Despite all the hard work, I feel I did better than the last time I did APE. So in the end I have to say it was a positive experience.

Jackson Pollock Theme Photo Shoot!
Last May I got models Carrie Colin and Cherry Katonic to help me do a photo shoot inspired by the work of Jackson Pollock. Jeff Cathcart and Treja Hayes were also on hand to help out. Here are some of the images.

Nakedcomix Out takes!
Nothing goes perfect and it would be boring if it did. Here are some selected out takes from past modeling shoots. Enjoy.
